The Showdown was a fun event organized by the Expressions Club to check the unity of a section against the other sections. It consisted of three rounds.
The first round was a simple game ‘Brick It’ which were specifically meant to test the coordination between the members of a team. Each section formed a team of twenty. The team members were required to build a brick path on which they had to walk backwards simultaneously while passing the bricks as fast as possible.
The second round was the ‘The Relay’ round. The best three out of four teams went to this round. It had four pit stops with 16 people per team as the relay was completed when you went both forward and back to the starting round in minimum time.
In the third and the final round ‘Quidditch’, the best of three were selected. Two teams of 7 members (5 boys and two girls) were to be made. After half time of 5 minutes, the teams completely changed. The team which scored maximum goals won the round. Section C won this round to become the winner of the event with section B as the runner up.
